Brittany Schulz

As a single mother and chronic pain warrior, Britt transformed her passion for indie books into the thriving online bookstore ‘Fiction & Friction’ in August 2020. Fuelled by a desire to bridge gaps in the market, Britt has curated a collection of over 1000 titles by more than 200 indie authors. Her journey from a handmade bookish merch store to pioneering the first-of-its-kind indie bookstore, with a focus on Romance in all its guises, showcases her tenacity and innovation. More recently Britt has also established a physical bookstore in her hometown of Murray Bridge SA, and has staged a major book signing convention for lovers of romance.
