Anna Burkey

Anna Burkey has a passion for books, reading and education. Hailing from Scotland, where she was on the founding team of Edinburgh UNESCO City of Literature, Anna now lives in Melbourne/Naarm. 

After several years with State Library Victoria and the Centre for Youth Literature, and establishing business training and startup program StartSpace, Anna’s over the moon to be working with the Australian Publishers Association (APA) as their Head of Communications. Her role includes leading Australia Reads, in partnership with authors, libraries, publishers and booksellers, to get more people reading more books, more often.
