Navarine Publishing

Founded in 1992, Navarine Publishing is essentially a collective of self-publishing authors with similar interests, primarily concerning Tasmania’s rich maritime history. It incorporates the Roebuck Society, formed by the late Dr. John Cumpston in 1970, that was more broadly concerned with Australian history, and continues to sell Roebuck titles that are still in print, as well as publishing new titles within that series. It also publishes and distributes books concerning maritime archaeology, maritime history, family history and convict heritage, etc.
