Kill Your Darlings (KYD) was founded in 2010 by Hannah Kent and Rebecca Starford and is one of Australia’s most lively and entertaining online magazines.

KYD embraces both high- and low-brow culture and publishes commentary, essays, fiction, interviews and reviews. In addition to championing Australian writers, KYD also produces a regular podcast, runs a monthly book club, provides professional writing services such as workshops and manuscript assessments, and hosts literary events to foster engagement and discussion between writers and readers.
