MidnightSun Publishing was founded in 2011 by writer Anna Solding, who is still its managing director. The company has published novels for adults, YA fiction and children’s books. Books, including picture book One Step at a Time and short story collection Wild Gestures, have been nominated and won awards including the Commonwealth Book Prize, the MUBA, the CBCA Awards and the Saboteur Award (UK).

Currently MidnightSun is working to extend its overseas rights sales. We have attended bookfairs in London and Bologna for the past few years and now have several sub-agents representing us. We love beautiful, unusual, striking, sexy and challenging books and we take pride in publishing exciting new Australian writers who might have been rejected elsewhere.
