Windy Hollow Books is a publisher of beautiful children’s picture books. We are committed to producing high quality, literary picture books that children will cherish. We love to find and work with new and upcoming authors and illustrators as well as established creators. At the 2020 Bologna International Book Fair we won the BOP for Best Children’s Publisher of the Year (Oceania region).

Windy Hollow Books publishes across the early and middle years of childhood, from board books and preschool picture books, through to narrative non-fiction for older children. Our books are strong on story and we look for books where the narrative is engaging, child centred and something that readers will want to return to again and again.

Our focus is on stories that are positive and empower children to feel connected to their community and environment. We try to foster a love of books that encourage the child reader to be inquisitive, engaged, and thoughtful.

Several of our titles have been shortlisted or winners in Australian book awards.
